Claudia N. Lombardo is an attorney and member of the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice includes personal injury law, bicycle accident injuries, medical malpractice defense, stockbroker malpractice, insurance litigation, and criminal defense. Ms. Lombardo also writes for the Wisconsin Employment Law Letter. Ms. Lombardo is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Lombardo received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. While in law school, she served as Note and Comment Editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society and provided legal assistance to individuals serving a parole sentence. Ms. Lombardo interned for Honorable William Hanrahan at the Dane County Circuit Court and at the Wisconsin Department of Justice in the Medicaid Fraud Control and Elder Abuse Unit.
Prior to law school, Ms. Lombardo worked at a non-profit organization that serves immigrant communities throughout New York City. There, she gained experience in public policy, advocacy, direct service, marketing and fundraising. Ms. Lombardo also served as the organization's Representative to the United Nations, where she sat on UN committees, presented at various forums on issues affecting children and helped organize the UN's annual non-governmental organizations conference.
Ms. Lombardo is admitted to practice in the state courts of Wisconsin and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
