Condominium Development & Conversions
Development of new residential, commercial and mixed-use condominium projects can be a complex and confusing process, usually involving many areas of law, including land use, construction, financing, contracts and, of course, condominium law. Conversions of existing residential or commercial developments into condominium projects are also typically filled with potential legal pitfalls. These projects require the involvement of skilled, experienced and creative attorneys who understand all phases of condominium development and conversion to assure that all aspects of these projects are handled successfully.

Axley Brynelson's real estate attorneys have many years of experience of working on virtually all sizes and types of condominium developments from small residential projects involving just a few units to large commercial/residential mixed-use projects containing hundreds of units. Our experience includes assisting and counseling the developer through site acquisitions and municipal approvals, financing and drafting the condominium disclosure documents. This expertise does not end with the completion of condominium disclosure documents, but continues through the sale of units and the formation, operation and turnover to the condominium association. This breadth of experience covers all phases of condominium development and conversion, and includes working with and guiding clients, as well as other professionals, such as architects and surveyors, through the process. The experience and creativity of Axley's attorneys adds value to a successful project, but understanding and staying focused on the ultimate objective of making these projects profitable for our clients sets us apart.
