Employee Benefits

Attorneys in the employee benefits section of the business
law department provide advice to clients regarding the choice of employee
benefit plans, such as retirement plans, employee welfare plans, health
insurance, life insurance plans, the operation of such plans, and the
representation of plans and employers in disputes with state or federal
regulatory authorities or employees. This includes drafting or reviewing
contracts with plan administrators, and assisting in internal audits of plans
to identify areas of noncompliance and suggestions for improvement.
