Insurance Defense
|
Axley's insurance defense practice largely involves representation of insurers and insureds in lawsuits. Examples of cases Axley regularly handles include motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death claims, products and premises liability claims, civil rights matters, environmental damage claims and defense of municipalities and school districts. Axley represents insurers in bad faith claims and subrogation matters and regularly addresses coverage issues, ranging from uninsured motorist claims to pollution exclusion issues and everything in between. We have a unique experience in assisting insurers in drafting policy language, and we serve as claims adjusters in Wisconsin for a worker's compensation insurer.
Insurance defense has been central to the Axley litigation practice since the founding of the firm in 1885. The insurance defense practice covers the entire state of Wisconsin. Every litigation attorney at our firm has experience representing insurers, and many of our attorneys focus their practice on insurance defense. The breadth and depth of our experience in representation of insurers has assisted us in developing a common sense, cost effective and practical approach to meet our clients' needs.
