(Madison, Wis.) Axley Brynelson law firm is pleased to announce that the American Bar Association named the firm a Partner in its Law Office Climate Challenge. Designed by the ABA’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources (SEER), and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Climate Challenge encourages law offices to take simple, practical steps to become better environmental and energy stewards.
As a Partner in the Law Office Climate Challenge’s Best Practices for the Office Paper Management section, Axley commits to improving environmental sustainability practices within the firm by:
- Using all types of copier, printer, letterhead and bond paper, and envelopes that are at least 30 percent post-consumer recycled paper at least 90 percent of the time
- Recycling at least 90 percent of discarded office paper
- Utilizing double-sided copying and printing for all internal documents more than several pages in length
