Axley Brynelson Attorney John Walsh Elected to State of Wisconsin Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund Claims Committee

(Madison, Wis.) Axley Brynelson law firm is pleased to announce that Attorney John Walsh has been elected to the Claims Committee of the State of Wisconsin’s Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund and the Wisconsin Health Care Liability Insurance Plan (WHCLIP). Attorney Walsh currently is serving his second term on the Fund’s Board of Governors, which also serves as the Board of WHCLIP.

The Fund provides excess medical malpractice coverage for Wisconsin health care providers. WHCLIP operates as an insurer of last resort to provide primary medical malpractice insurance for licensed physicians and certain other health care providers.

As a trial lawyer, Attorney Walsh primarily handles cases involving personal injury. Attorney Walsh is a former president of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a part-time faculty member at the University of Wisconsin School of Business, where he recently was recognized for 20 years of teaching Business Law with Axley Brynelson Attorney Bruce Harms.
