(Madison, Wis.) Attorney Brian Mullins addressed a crowd of Madison young professionals yesterday on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and the hallmarks of the entrepreneurial spirit. Mullins spoke as part of Madison MAGNET's lunch series, drawing on his personal experience as well as family background to explain how strong ethics and hard work ultimately pay off.

Now co-chair of the largest Construction Law practice in Wisconsin, Mullins cited risk taking, extensive knowledge of a particular industry and passion as the keys to retaining an entrepreneurial spirit in an intuitively non-entrepreneurial profession.

Mullins also referenced his family's real estate development company, the Mullins Group, LLC, as an example of entrepreneurialism. Determination, dedication and the willingness to make personal sacrifices have made the company what it is today, said Mullins.
