Axley Managing Partner Patricia Gibeault(Madison, Wis.) – The Wisconsin Law Journal selected Axley Managing Partner Patricia Gibeault as one of the publication’s 2015 Women in the Law – an award commemorating her professional excellence, as well as her steadfast dedication to helping female counterparts succeed within the practice.

Gibeault ranks among the top, most influential female attorneys in the state whose accomplishments and initiatives have not only encouraged women to pursue legal careers, but have allowed them to enter into various types of jobs historically closed off to women. From prospering in a male-dominated practice area, to becoming Axley’s first female Managing Partner – Attorney Laura Peck says Gibeault has remained a trendsetter throughout her career.

“Patti personifies resiliency, a trait that has served her well in all aspects of her career,” said Peck, a former Women in the Law honoree. “Her encouragement of women and adherence to high standards makes her a great role model. She refuses to let preconceived notions about gender roles restrict anyone’s ability to thrive in the legal profession.”

The Wisconsin Law Journal will host a ceremony honoring Gibeault and other award recipients – who will be featured in an upcoming, special Women in the Law edition of the publication – on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. Event registration is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased online.
