Brigade Electronics, Inc. will distribute a new back-up alarm that sounds like a duck. Unlike total alarms, this new alarm will not cause confusion because its “white sound” is readily locatable. The alarm, which can be used for front end loaders and similar equipment, meets OSHA and MSHA standards, and is the only back-up alarm specifically listed in New York City’s noise control measures for use in all areas.
