Attorney Lili C. Behm is a senior associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on civil litigation and insurance defense.
Attorney Behm works with individuals, insurance companies, and other businesses on a variety of civil litigation matters, including tort claims, breach of contract, bad faith claims, and insurance policy coverage disputes. She effectively handles all aspects of litigation from discovery and depositions to trial. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to see key arguments that others may have overlooked.
Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Behm practiced at a local Madison firm. There, she handled employment litigation, consumer matters, and worker’s compensation cases. Her written advocacy on behalf of clients has persuaded numerous state and federal court judges, as well as administrative tribunals.
With a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Harvard University and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, Attorney Behm is known by her peers as an intelligent and dedicated lawyer who aggressively advocates for her clients. During and immediately after law school, she was a clerk and then an associate attorney at the Los Angeles office of an international litigation firm. Her work experience also includes an externship in the Chicago office of the Environmental Protection Agency and a judicial clerkship with Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
When Attorney Behm is not in the office, she enjoys hiking, ballet, snowshoeing, and poetry. She is also fluent in German.
