About

Attorney Adam Dassow is an Associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. Attorney Dassow focuses his practice on business litigation, family law, personal injury, insurance defense, and collections.

Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Dassow developed extensive litigation experience at another well-respected Janesville firm. He frequently served as a lead attorney in Circuit Court at all levels, including drafting pleadings, pretrial discovery, medical records review, negotiation and mediation of contested matters, and trial. Attorney Dassow is also a Contract Guardian Ad Litem for Rock County Juvenile and Family Court, where he advocates on behalf of minors and incompetent adults’ best interests including investigating allegations of abuse and negligence and providing written reports to the court. His clients appreciate his legal connections in the community and also his reputation as an effective and responsive communicator.

Before graduating law school, Attorney Dassow served as a Branch 7 Judicial Assistant and Bailiff at the Rock County Courthouse. This experience gave Attorney Dassow valuable insight for his clients on the inner workings of the court including how judges approach cases on their docket.

Attorney Dassow served as both President and Vice President of NAMI-Rock County and is the current Past President of the Rock County Bar Association. In addition, he is an Iraq war veteran with the First Cavalry Division of the United States Army where he received the Iraqi Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Army Meritorious Unit Citation. He was named to the Rising Stars List by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2021.

When not in the office, Attorney Dassow enjoys tackling home improvement projects and spending time with his family.
