Steve Grimm is a partner in the firm with over twenty years of experience in the fields of law and accounting.  His clients benefit from his experience as both an attorney and CPA, which allows him to see complicated business issues from multiple viewpoints.

Steve specializes in handling the unique legal and tax issues that face the closely held business and its owners.  Steve assists business owners with succession and other estate planning issues, as well as the sale and purchase of closely held businesses.  Steve utilizes his tax background to advise business clients on entity formation issues as well as the tax-efficient structuring of business transactions.  Steve also advises his individual clients on individual income tax planning matters and estate and gift tax issues as part of an overall estate plan.

Steve has contributed articles to a variety of publications, including the Wisconsin Lawyer.  He also serves as a co-author to two legal treatises (i) Eckhardt’s Workbook for Wisconsin Estate Planners, published by the Wisconsin State Bar; and (ii) the Wisconsin Practice Series on Postmortem Administration, published by Thomson Reuters.
