Connor J. Mooney

Attorney Connor Mooney is a senior associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice in both civil litigation and insurance defense.

Attorney Mooney represents both individuals and businesses and litigates matters on a wide range of topics including contract disputes, labor & employment, construction, and a myriad of general negligence insurance defense matters.

Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Mooney worked for two reputable law firms in Madison, Wisconsin, where he practiced litigation, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, and transactional law. He was also a Student Attorney for the Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he drafted corporate documents for entity formation, conversion, and stock sale. In addition, Attorney Mooney was a Student Associate at Lexis Nexis and aided his peers with legal research.

Attorney Mooney is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. During his time there, he held internships with the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, the Dane County Circuit Court Branch 11 & 16, and the Michigan 10th Circuit Court, where he served as an aide to several judges. Before joining law school, Attorney Mooney founded the Spartans Supporting Society, a non-profit organization that provided aid to the homeless community in the greater Lansing, MI, area.

In his free time, Attorney Mooney enjoys spending time with family, fishing, cycling around the lakes of Madison, and riding his motorcycle.
