Información
Attorney Zach Sibley is a senior associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Attorney Sibley handles appellate litigation across all areas of law, in addition to his trial work defending health care workers in medical malpractice suits and ensuring just compensation is paid in condemnation & eminent domain cases.
Attorney Sibley’s success as a dual-threat trial and appellate lawyer comes from his public service career. Summers at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and, later, the Wisconsin Solicitor General’s Office turned into a staff attorney role serving in the chambers of several Wisconsin trial judges. The experience and credibility Attorney Sibley garnered in those roles led to the distinguished opportunity to serve the Wisconsin Supreme Court, a privilege to which he devoted several years serving as a trusted law clerk to two current Supreme Court Justices. His public service career afforded him the extensive experience in criminal and civil matters—ranging from routine land-use disputes to high-stakes constitutional dilemmas—that he now leverages into exceptional, one-of-a-kind solutions and advocacy for his clients.
Since joining Axley in 2022, Attorney Sibley has chaired multiple (and multi-week) jury trials every year and litigated over 20 appeals, including before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The results speak for themselves, and include complete defense verdicts for physicians accused of malpractice, a summary reversal of an erroneous trial court decision, and a unanimous Wisconsin Supreme Court decision adopting his clients’ position in full.
Attorney Sibley spends his time outside the office with his wife and daughter in the great Wisconsin outdoors—snow skiing in the winter, water skiing and beach volleyball in the summer, and hiking with their dogs all year round.
