Axley is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Gail Groy to its Madison office, where she will concentrate her practice on Personal Injury Law and Civil Litigation. She frequently handles all manner of plaintiff negligence type cases involving nursing home abuse, bicycle accidents, motorcycle and car accidents, construction accidents, slip and fall accidents, dog bites and wrongful death.
Ms. Groy began her legal career in the United Kingdom after graduating from Kingston University Law School in Surrey and the Westminster University in London. She then relocated to the United States, where she petitioned the Supreme Court of Wisconsin to take the Wisconsin bar exam, and became one of the first foreign attorneys allowed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin without having attended an ABA approved law school.
“We are delighted to welcome Attorney Groy to our Madison office,” said Managing Partner Patricia Gibeault. “She is an incredibly bright individual, and her unique professional background will no doubt bring great things to our firm.”
In addition to her impressive legal background, Ms. Groy has an extensive background in engineering, math and science. She is the only Wisconsin attorney that is an associate member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, where she is working to bring forensic expertise into her litigation personal injury practice.
Ms. Groy is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Wisconsin and the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and in England and Wales.
