Axley is excited to welcome Attorney Heath Straka as a partner in our Madison Office.
Attorney Straka practices in both state and federal court and focuses his practice on complex litigation and class actions involving wage and hour violations, and personal injury. He is the current president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, a state-wide association of trial attorneys.
Before joining Axley, Attorney Straka practiced law at another well-known Madison firm for 18 years. Straka is often a guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and he is routinely recognized by his peers as a leading trial attorney in the state. Throughout his career, he has been named as a top-rated class action and mass torts attorney with Wisconsin Super Lawyers, recognized as a top personal injury litigation attorney by The Best Lawyers in America©, and included in the Nation’s Top 1% by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He is also fluent in Spanish, using it regularly with his clients and as a volunteer with the Dane County Bar Association providing legal services to non-English speakers.
