Representing Cannabis & Hemp-Related Businesses

For over 130 years Axley has been on the forefront of change. We were figuring out what it took to bring electricity into homes and businesses when most people were leery of replacing gas street lamps. We were counseling Frank Lloyd Wright long before words like «visionary» were used to describe his work.  We were defending the hiring of a gay, mixed-race female as Madison’s Fire Chief when conventional wisdom said only a straight, white male could command the respect necessary to lead the Department. We pride ourselves on seeing where society is going and helping to blaze those trails.

We believe legal cannabis in all its forms is coming to Wisconsin following a nationwide trend. With recent changes to the law involving hemp and CBD oil in Wisconsin, it’s essential to stay ahead of the curve. Axley is helping people understand their rights when it comes to growing hemp, producing and marketing CBD products, and providing goods and services that support the cannabis industry here and in other states.

To better understand and serve the industry, we have partnered with those at the forefront. Two of our partners are among the founding members of the Cannabis Industry Association of Wisconsin, the first trade association in the state incorporated solely to support the growth of cannabis-related businesses in Wisconsin. We are committed to understanding this rapidly evolving and often contradictory area of the law. If you’re serious about a cannabis-related business, we’re serious about helping you.
