Axley Law Firm has extensive experience in Mine Safety and Health Administration (“MSHA”). That experience also extends to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) issues. Attorneys Troy Thompson and Buck Sweeney have negotiated informal settlements, litigated cases and provided overall training of companies in important areas of MSHA and OSHA.

MSHA ties in well with our non-metallic mining practice. Axley’s MSHA attorneys represent a number of contractors operating mines, and MSHA regulations are an important component of that practice. OSHA, however, is much broader and covers a wider range of clients and safety issues. Axley’s OSHA attorneys can help clients to understand the overall procedural issues in dealing with citations and the need for timely responses.

Axley has been assisting clients in MSHA and OSHA matters for decades.
