Tara Bickford

Attorney Tara Bickford is an associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Business Practice Group. She focuses her practice on business and real estate.

Attorney Bickford works with both individuals and corporations on matters related to purchase and sale agreements, business startups including operating agreements, and general business guidance.

Prior to joining Axley as an associate, Attorney Bickford worked with the firm as a Summer Associate in 2025. She assisted with researching and writing memoranda, drafting subcontractor agreements, and reviewing simple and complex estate plans. She also brings additional internship experience supporting construction and commercial matters for Wisconsin based corporations.

Attorney Bickford graduated from Marquette University Law School where she received the Thomas More Law Scholarship and won the Fall 2023 Mediation Competition and the Spring 2024 Negotiation Competition. During law school, Attorney Bickford was involved in the Business Law Society, the Association for Women Lawyers, and the Pro Bono Society, which requires 50+ hours of pro bono service in order to be inducted. Additionally, Attorney Bickford served as the Vice President of the Tax Law Association and as the Secretary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society.

When not in the office, Attorney Bickford enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, and golfing.
