Litigation Associate, Madison: Axley Brynelson, LLP, a leading Wisconsin law firm with offices in Madison and Waukesha, is seeking an associate attorney with a minimum of three years of demonstrated experience post law school graduation in civil litigation for its Madison office. Summer Associate Program

Axley provides law students the opportunity to gain hands on legal experience through the firm’s summer law clerk program. Our summer law clerks get a true understanding of Axley and the legal industry by working with our 50 plus Wisconsin attorneys on real assignments for real clients in over 100 legal areas.

Axley’s summer law clerks:

  • Shadow attorneys at court trials, depositions and mediations
  • Learn about the business and marketing aspects of law practice, such as obtaining and retaining clients
  • Interact with clients and potential clients at company and community networking events
  • Draft memos, briefs and pleadings
  • Collaborate with attorneys to write articles and legal alerts, and prepare presentations
  • Participate in client and firm practice group meetings
  • Attend legal trainings and CLEs

Our summer law clerk program is our primary source of new associate hires. We principally recruit second year law students.
