About

Attorney Kate Bodenbach is an associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Business Practice Group. She focuses her practice on general business, contract negotiation and drafting, and commercial real estate law.

Attorney Bodenbach works with start-ups and businesses of all sizes on legal matters relating to general business guidance, such as corporate entity formation, asset purchases, and the purchase and sale of commercial real estate. In addition, she reviews and drafts commercial real estate documents and leases, articles of incorporation and bylaws, operating agreements, stock purchase agreements, and real estate development and construction documents. Clients appreciate her ability to communicate in a direct and efficient manner to provide direction as needed.

Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Bodenbach worked for another local Milwaukee firm and also as a legal intern with the Executive Office of the Governor. She served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property Law Review with Marquette University Law School and also received a CALI Award (highest grade) for Contract Drafting and Legal and Business Issues.

When not in the office, Attorney Bodenbach enjoys spending time with her extended family. She also loves cheering on Wisconsin sports, exploring local restaurants, and picking up a good book to read.
