(Madison, Wis.) – Axley Associate Eric R. Hunt was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin this morning, along with a handful of recent law school graduates, at a swearing-in ceremony led by Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson.
The ceremony took place in the Supreme Court Hearing Room at the Wisconsin State Capitol. Justice Ann Walsh Bradley administered the attorney’s oath and delivered a brief speech on the importance of possessing courage in the legal profession. Both Abrahamson and Bradley emphasized the significant responsibilities of attorneys.
Hunt is a member of Axley’s Litigation Practice Group, experienced in handling civil and criminal matters. Prior to joining Axley, Hunt served as a legal extern in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
