The Wisconsin Law Journal selected Axley Attorney Nancy Wilson as one of the publication’s 2016 Women in the Law – an award commemorating her professional excellence, as well as her steadfast dedication to helping female counterparts succeed within the practice.
Wilson ranks among the top, most influential female attorneys in the state whose accomplishments and initiatives have not only encouraged women to pursue legal careers, but have allowed them to enter into various types of jobs historically closed off to women. From her experience in roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, and business owner to her continued success as an attorney, Wilson has not shied away from any challenge and it has opened doors, not only for her, but for those women that come after her.

On June 23, 2016, the Wisconsin Law Journal hosted a ceremony honoring Wilson and other award recipients – who will be featured in an upcoming, special Women in the Law edition of the publication –at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
Wilson focuses her practice on the various facets of business law; real estate; tax planning; estate planning; and contract negotiation. With over a decade of experience, Wilson has handled significant contract negotiations involving landfills, establishment of a large condominium time share plan, and mergers and acquisitions in various industries.
Along with serving as an advisory board member for Herzing University, Wilson serves on the Wisconsin State Bar Lawyers Referral and Information Systems Committee, which oversees the Wisconsin State Bar LRIS program, and helps individuals determine what steps need to be taken with their legal issues. Wilson is also a member of several organizations whose purpose is to forward the interests of women in a variety of industries, including: National Association of Women Business Owners, Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs, and Association of Women Lawyers.
