(Madison, Wis.) Axley is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Matthew Leffler to our legal team.

Joining the firm immediately after graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Mr. Leffler is an attorney practicing primarily in business, construction and real estate law. He also practices in the areas of condemnation and eminent domain, environmental, and municipal law.

Mr. Leffler previously worked as a student attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Frank J. Remington Center and Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. He co-authored briefs for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, argued sentence modification motions at circuit court and worked extensively with local small businesses and start-ups on transactional issues. Additionally, Mr. Leffler served as a legal extern for a national general contractor.

A native of Racine, Mr. Leffler completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance – Real Estate.

Mr. Leffler will work primarily out of Axley’s Waukesha office. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Wisconsin.
