Wisconsin Association for Justice (WAJ) named Axley paralegal Elaine Jensen its Paralegal of the Year.
WAJ’s Paralegal of the Year award recognizes a paralegal who is knowledgeable of the law, dedicated in their cases and to clients, demonstrates superior paralegal skills and a commitment and overall attitude that inspires fellow paralegals.
Elaine Jensen is a Senior Paralegal in Axley’s Litigation Practice Group with 30 years of experience. Her work focuses in plaintiff’s personal injury law. Ms. Jensen has considerable client contact and serves as a resource for clients throughout the entire claims process. She also assists attorneys with accident investigation, establishing special damages and gathering medical evidence.
Ms. Jensen makes efforts to pass her knowledge on to other paralegals and legal assistants by teaching seminars, writing for Wisconsin Association for Justice’s The Verdict and other publications and mentoring paralegal interns.
In addition to her paralegal duties at Axley, Ms. Jensen enjoys organizing office celebrations such as Axley’s Badger Tailgate party and fundraisers for organizations such as American Family Children’s Hospital, National MS Society, Goodman Center Thanksgiving Baskets, and Toys for Tots.
Ms. Jensen will be presented her award during Wisconsin Association for Justice’s Winter Seminar December 15 at The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
