Axley Welcomes New Attorneys

Attorney Emilia Janisch and Attorney Amy Harriman

Axley welcomes back Attorney Amy Harriman and Attorney Emilia Janisch to our Madison Office. Attorney Harriman joins Axley’s Business Practice Group while Attorney Janisch is now a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Attorney Harriman represents both public and private companies with a variety of business and transactional matters including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, real estate, construction, employment, and government relations. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and worked as a Summer Associate at Axley prior to receiving her law degree. From a family of entreprenuers, Attorney Harriman grew up supporting the family businesses, including a general contracting company, food and beverage service, and a residential real estate business. When not in the office, Attorney Harriman enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding, and golfing.

Attorney Janisch represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters including commercial, employment, intellectual property, and personal injury along with employment and municipal matters. A graduate of Penn State Law, Attorney Janisch worked at Axley as a Summer Associate prior to receiving her law degree. Before joining Axley, Attorney Janisch taught an English Legal Writing Course to law students and practitioners in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She also served as Editor in Chief for the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs. When not in the office, Attorney Janisch enjoys coaching and playing softball, reading thriller novels, and watching football with her fiancé and dogs.
