Axley is excited to announce the addition of Attorney Zachariah Sibley to our Madison Office. Attorney Sibley will be joining Axley’s Litigation Practice Group with an emphasis on condemnation and eminent domain, municipal and school law, and appellate litigation.
Attorney Sibley joins Axley following several years of public service. He spent his law school summers clerking for the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota and the Wisconsin Solicitor General’s Office. Attorney Sibley went on to work as staff attorney to Dane County Circuit Court Judges Ellen Berz, Susan Crawford, Josann Reynolds, and Richard Niess.
Following this trial court experience, Attorney Sibley moved to appellate work as law clerk to Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Rebecca Frank Dallet and Jill J. Karofsky. Throughout his public-service roles, Attorney Sibley researched and drafted briefs, motions, memoranda, and judicial opinions on a broad range of both criminal and civil legal issues, from routine land use disputes to high-stakes constitutional dilemmas.
Attorney Sibley is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, and served as Executive Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology.
