Attorney Gina Leali is a senior associate at Axley and a member of the firm’s Family Law practice group. Attorney Leali assists clients with a wide variety of family law matters including divorce, annulment, legal separation, spousal support, custody, placement, child support, prenuptial agreements, and guardianships.
Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Leali worked for two reputable law firms in the Chicago area, where she managed various contested and uncontested family law matters including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, divorce, parentage, protective orders and post-decree modification matters. Through attention to detail, Attorney Leali has negotiated and resolved complex property disputes by utilizing financial statements and marital balance sheets to secure favorable settlement terms for clients. Similarly, she will rigorously advocate for clients through motion practice, preparation, and presentation of memoranda and witness testimony, where necessary.
Attorney Leali is a graduate of Marquette University Law School. During her time there, she was involved as a member of the Marquette Law Review, served on the Editorial Board, and volunteered with the Domestic Abuse pro bono clinic. She also held an internship with the Milwaukee Circuit Court Civil Division, where she attended trials and performed research for the Deputy Chief Judge of the civil division involving property and contract disputes.
In her free time, Attorney Leali enjoys cooking for and sharing meals with her family and friends, exploring the outdoors and hiking, and spending time with her rescue dog.
