Every year, the State Bar of Wisconsin singles out lawyers, judges, law firms and law students that make a difference. Based on his impact on the legal profession and the community, Axley Attorney John G. Walsh was recognized by the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar as the 2017 Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year.
Attorney Walsh is a business lawyer at Axley, practicing in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and business reorganizations; intellectual property and trademark registration; estate planning and probate; real estate; and liquor licensing.
In addition to his legal career, Attorney Walsh is a frequent speaker/performer at events such as VISIONS – Foundations Fighting Blindness National Convention; On the Move Madison – National Multiple Sclerosis Society; Access to Independence – 35th Anniversary Gala; and The Comedy Club on State. Attorney Walsh is also no stranger to the media, as The Wisconsin State Journal wrote an article about him in 2014 titled Brothers Bound by Blindness and the Wisconsin Lawyer interviewed him for a piece called 10 Questions: Johnny Walsh: Leave ‘Em Laughing in 2013.
