(Madison, Wis.) – Axley is excited to announce the addition of Attorney Christopher Toner to the firm’s labor and employment practice group in the Madison Office. With two decades of experience in labor and employment law, Attorney Toner provides guidance to employers on compliance with the National Labor Relations Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and federal and state discrimination laws. He has extensive experience with employment law counseling and collective bargaining with labor unions.
A former in-house attorney at large healthcare systems, Attorney Toner is well-positioned to assist healthcare clients with regulatory issues, medical staff issues, and revisions to medical staff bylaws. He advises clients with both day-to-day legal matters and more complex legal issues. His healthcare practice focuses on all areas of the employment relationship, as well as peer review matters and counseling on matters related to Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, EMTALA, and licensing issues.
