Aneet Kaur is an associate attorney at Axley. Ms. Kaur represents and advises clients in a variety of areas including civil litigation, insurance defense, labor and employment law, and worker’s compensation defense.
Before joining Axley, Ms. Kaur practiced at another well-respected, Madison-area law firm where she defended employers and insurance carriers in worker’s compensation cases, spoke on behalf of the defense regarding legislative changes and case law updates, and presented training seminars to both employers and insurance carriers. Ms. Kaur has represented several Fortune 500 companies in high value cases and has experience representing clients before the Court of Appeals, Labor and Industry Review Commission, and Department of Workforce Development.
Ms. Kaur received her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School. While at Marquette, Ms. Kaur served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lynn S. Adelmanm, U. S. District Court of Eastern Wisconsin, provided mentoring as an assistant coach for the AAJ Moot Court Competition, was appointed board member of the law school’s employment law society, and worked as a student attorney for a number of the law school’s legal clinics. Additionally, Ms. Kaur was inducted into the Pro Bono Society as a member with distinction for completing over 150 hours of pro bono legal services.
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ms. Kaur enjoys exploring her new city with her friends and family and is always on the hunt for a good fish fry.
