Aneet Kaur is a partner at Axley. Ms. Kaur represents and advises clients in a variety of areas including civil litigation, eminent domain, labor and employment, and medical malpractice defense. She regularly works with insurance companies, health care entities, employers, and utility companies on a wide-range of matters.
Routinely handling cases before Federal and state courts and also administrative agencies, her trial experience includes numerous high-value and high-profile cases. Clients appreciate her ability to seamlessly handle all aspects of litigation from pre-litigation strategy to posturing a case in order to present it before a judge or jury. Her clients also appreciate that she works toward the resolution that best fits their individual needs—whether that is pursuing early settlement, preparing a case for trial, or something in between.
Ms. Kaur was named an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2019 by the Wisconsin Law Journal and also a Rising Star in Workers’ Compensation in the 2019 and 2020 Super Lawyers List. She is often called upon to speak on various topics relating to the areas she practices in, and to provide training seminars to employers, insurance carriers, and medical professionals. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Food Fight, Inc.
Ms. Kaur received her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School. While at Marquette, Ms. Kaur served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lynn S. Adelmanm, U. S. District Court of Eastern Wisconsin, provided mentoring as an assistant coach for the AAJ Moot Court Competition, was appointed board member of the law school’s employment law society, and worked as a student attorney for a number of the law school’s legal clinics. Additionally, Ms. Kaur was inducted into the Pro Bono Society as a member with distinction for completing over 150 hours of pro bono legal services.
