Axley Welcomes New Attorneys

Axley is excited to announce the addition of three new attorneys: Kate Bodenbach, Cecilia Heberling, and Noah Rusch. Attorneys Heberling and Rusch are both practicing litigation and will be based out of Axley’s Madison office. Attorney Bodenbach will be based out of Axley’s Waukesha office practicing business and real estate law.

Attorney Kate Bodenbach

Attorney Kate Bodenbach is an associate at Axley practicing general business, contract negotiation and drafting, and commercial real estate law. Attorney Bodenbach works with start-ups and businesses of all sizes on legal matters relating to general business guidance, such as corporate entity formation, asset purchases, and the purchase and sale of commercial real estate. In addition, she reviews and drafts commercial real estate documents and leases, articles of incorporation and bylaws, operating agreements, stock purchase agreements, and real estate development and construction documents.

Attorney Cecilia Heberling

Attorney Cecilia Heberling is an associate at Axley practicing insurance defense and civil litigation. Attorney Heberling represents clients through all phases of litigation from discovery and depositions to trial. She uses her education and experience to advocate for her clients’ best interests and is known for her positive rapport with clients, judges, and opposing parties. Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Heberling worked at a Milwaukee-area firm where she prepared pleadings, discovery responses, briefs, motions, and settlement agreements. A cum laude graduate of Michigan State University Law School, she also worked in the Federal Public Defenders office for the Western District of Wisconsin and served as a clinician with the Chance at Childhood Legal Clinic.

Attorney Noah Rusch

Attorney Noah Rusch is an associate at Axley practicing insurance defense and civil litigation. Prior to joining Axley, Attorney Rusch worked at two different Madison-area firms where he assisted in navigating litigation in personal injury, malpractice, landlord-tenant, and business law issues. He has prepared pleadings, discovery responses, briefs, motions, and mediation statements. Before graduating, he was an intern for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Shirley Abrahamson where he conducted legal research and analysis on complex legal issues. In addition, he worked for the Wisconsin Innocence Project as a Student Associate to help vigorously investigate and litigate claims of individuals that may have been wrongfully accused.
