Injuries from Defective Products

Dangerous and defective products seriously injure or kill thousands of people each year. Regrettably, many of these injuries could have been avoided if appropriate safety and design measures were taken prior to manufacturing and distribution.

Some examples of defective products include:
  • Metal on Metal Hips
  • Automobiles
  • Dangerous toys
  • Industrial machinery and equipment
  • Prescription drugs

A product must be labeled with sufficient instructions or warnings about necessary precautions. As a result, the law protects consumers and workers from these types of products by permitting them to bring claims against manufacturers or other entities responsible for the defective product.

Axley’s personal injury attorneys have significant experience with defective hip claims (Wright Medical, Zimmer, and Depuy) and with injuries caused by automobiles, child carriers, automated doors, and many other products.
